Facilities and Accessibility
Parking is available on Main Street and in the lot next to the Parish Hall--enter via Church Lane.
Wheelchair access: For St. Pauls, turn on Gold Street to find the designated parking and entrance. The Parish Hall is accessible via the ramp from the parking lot.
All of our facilities are equipped with bathrooms except for the Old Narragansett Church. The bathrooms in the church are located in the office wing, behind both the chapel and the main sanctuary.
St. Paul's has a sound system equipped with a hearing loop system for the hearing impaired. There is an additional speaker in the chapel through which you can hear the service occurring in the main church.
Worship
There is no dress code, so dress as you are comfortable. You will see people wearing anything from suits, ties, and dresses to jeans and sweaters or shorts in season. As Episcopalians, we typically sit for instruction, kneel for prayer, and stand for praise. Move as you are able and comfortable.
We use the services outlined in the Book of Common Prayer, and you can expect inspired preaching, lots of singing led by the organ and choir, and friendly, supportive people.
For information about our educational opportunities, please see the Sunday school page and related tabs.
Membership and Involvement
Newcomers are welcome! Please fill out the newcomer card in your pew and hand it in at the offertory if you would like the church to have your information. You may be as much or as little involved in parish life as you wish to be, and get involved at your own pace. If you are interested in baptism, becoming an Episcopalian, becoming a member of St. Paul's, or serving in a ministry, please let us know. Everyone is welcome at church.
