Thank you to everyone who works together to lead the music ministry at St. Paul’s all year long, but especially during Holy Week!
Musicians who braved the elements at the Old Narragansett Church included Joe and Bonnie Smith, Kevin O’Connor and children’s choir director Nancy Sherman and members, Caleb Cranston, Meagan Frye, Nicholas Girioni, Chelsea Kuiper, Alaina Minarik, Gillian Minarik, Gianna Stewart and Andrew Zesk. Thank you Youth Choir diector Rozanne Fuller and members Sophie Brown, Sarah Cavaleri, Elizabeth Fusco, Sophia Fusco and Lydia Rumowicz.
Thank you Parish Choir members Walter Burrows, Tina Butler, Susan Cerullo, Jill Clement, Teattya Cranston, Ryan Cranston, Gail Cyr, Camilla deRochambeau, Rozanne Fuller, Marianne Goodrich, Mary B. Hall, Diane Hoffman, Dora Martorelli, Norm Poulin, Eleanor Ricci, Carrie Scheff, Nancy Shanahan, Diane Slader and Tom Spink. I know I appreciate their many hours of rehearsing. We literally “pulled out all of the stops” for Easter for the Gounod Mass. Thanks to Pat Petersen and the other instrumentalists as well for inspiring our worship!
The Parish Choir’s next special endeavor will be the Evensong on Trinity Sunday May 18 at 7 pm, in the Old Narragansett Church. Mark your calendars.
The Youth Choir will join other Episcopal choirs of RI for the All State Evensong April 27 at 4 pm, St. Paul’s Church, Pawtucket. The choirs will be conducted by a guest conductor from Washington D.C. The public is invited to attend!
The Youth and Children’s Choirs will join forces in May for our annual concert at St. Elizabeth Home.
