From the Director of Liturgy and Music

Mark Steinbach, DMA
Organist and Choirmaster

Thank you to all who participated in the magical Epiphany Evensong in the Old Narragansett Church. A special word of thanks to the altar guild team of Emily McKenney, Janet Pyne, and Evie Moder who prepared the Greeneway with luminaires and lanterns and also to Bill, our sexton, who cleared the path of snow. Thank you to our hospitality team for the hot cider and delicious treats! Jackie, Ann, Barbara and Pattie prepared another winning accompaniment to an evening of fellowship. The choir continued the celebration with a dinner at Tina Butler’s house. St. Paul’s Choir has a great time whether we are singing together or having a party. Now is a great time to consider joining one of the choirs! Please see me at coffee hour or contact me at the church 294-4357, ext. 106 for more info.

St. Paul’s Youth Choir rehearsed January 30 with 50 other choristers from the Diocese for the “All- State Evensong” which will take place April 25th at 5:00pm at St. Martin’s Church in Providence. Please see me or Rozanne Fuller to join in on the fun. Nancy and Alicia are preparing St. Paul’s Children’s Choir for the Easter liturgy. They are always welcoming new members.

SAVE THE DATE! March 21 at 4:00 pm Italian organist Mario Duella will perform an organ recital on J.S. Bach’s 315th birthday on the mechanical-action organ at St. Paul’s! A free-will offering will be taken. We hope to see you there!

Thank you for your support of the music ministries at St. Paul’s!

Peace, Mark
