Lenten Book Study: Celebration of Discipline Bess Wilson
Have you ever longed for a deeper relationship with God? Since the time of the early Christians, seekers of God have found certain daily practices, sometimes called spiritual disciplines, to be very helpful in developing their relationship with God. This study group will be examining and trying some of the spiritual disciplines discussed in Richard Foster’s book, Celebration of Discipline. “All of us will be fellow learners,” commented Bess Wilson, facilitator for the group.
This group will meet at church for six Thursday mornings during Lent, March 1 through March 29, from 10:30-Noon. To be sure we have enough copies of the book, please call the office to let us know you are interested in joining the study group. If you have any questions, please call Bess Wilson.
