The Rev. Dr. Frederick R. Nestrock

St. Paul’s welcomes the Reverend Fred Nestrock, his wife, Katherine, and daughter, Sarah. Most recently, Fred served as the interim rector of Christ Church, Westerly. He retired from full time ministry this June and comes to us as a part time assistant rector. Fred was born in New York, graduated from Hobart College, and received a Master of Divinity degree from Seabury Western Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1973 in the Diocese of Chicago. He served several churches in Michigan and Chicago and then went to Loyola University School of Dentistry. He practiced clinical dentistry in nursing facilities and elderly care centers. He also trained as an interim minister and served several parishes while practicing dentistry. He returned to the ministry exclusively in 2000 and served as an interim in New York and New Jersey.

Christmas Day, 2009, The Rev. Dr. Frederick R. Nestrock retired as Assistant to the Rector of St. Paul's Wickford.

The Rev. Dr. Frederick R. Nestrock
Thank You Fr. Fred

We wish you all the best and Godspeed in your retirement. Your presence will be missed but we have been enriched by your enthusiasm which we pray will continue to live with us all. As you said, we must not keep the faith, we must share it as you have done with us.

May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and remain with you always.
