Summer has passed too quickly! Have no fear the fun is just around the corner. A new season of youth activities will begin on Sunday afternoon, September 17. This year I hope that the Middle School Youth (MSY) will benefit from a change in meeting time. Sunday Evenings promise to be an action packed time for youth at St. Paul’s. I especially hope our new 6th and 9th graders will take advantage of joining Youth Group.

Regular Youth Group meetings will be held from 4-5 pm on Sunday evenings for MSY, followed by High School Youth (HSY) from 6-8 pm. Regular times are subject to change when outings and special activities are planned. Both groups will start off the year by plotting Halloween activities for October. It will be an exciting Fall, and I hope we might see growth in both groups this year. Give it a try! Most everyone who comes once keeps on coming, and every new member makes the group a whole lot better.

Also beginning this fall will be a monthly worship opportunity for all ages. Starting September 17, “Offerings” will begin to feature monthly worship and praise music and other artistic talents. This monthly service will feature guest musicians, and as the year progresses we hope to involve youth and adults alike in a new worship and praise band. Do you have something to Offer? Come share your presence, voice, and support at “Offerings”.

One of the most important things for a successful Youth Group is communicating our dates and events to families.
