Keep The Good Memories Coming

So you all should have received the disappointing news that our family will be moving to Tiverton, RI. Our last Sunday here at St. Paul’s will follow the projected delivery of this newsletter.

I have been thinking a lot of the great memories I have had in these last two years. I remember many of you young folks who were in middle school have physically, intellectually and emotionally grown into more mature people. It has been great to be a part of your growth in Christ through our fellowship together.

I especially remember the occasions when we joined together as a team to obliterate our competitors playing Laser Tag. I never knew how much pleasure one could experience running, crouching, peeking around corners and zapping folks with lasers.

On another occasion, we ran through the Greeneway with hoses and buckets, drenching each other in our Wacky Wet Wickford Water War. There have truly been many great memories and events that I have been blessed to share with you.

I was also impressed with the great attendance for volunteer projects. In our multiple contributions to the RI Food Bank, there were always plenty of volunteers. I learned from you never to doubt your passion helping others.

My greatest hope and prayer is that you continue to build these memories together. I have always believed and tried to express that all possibilities are available to you. Everything that you can dream up is possible if you are willing to plan, to work and to ask for help.

I pray that you continue to be blessed by the adult volunteers of this church who can help make all that you imagine possible. There are many people who care very much that you will always find the church to be a home. In the next year, there will be many opportunities for all youth to create new memories together.

God’s Peace,

Alan +
