Welcome back! Hope everyone had a wonderful relaxing summer. Sunday school registration will begin September 11, following the Parish Day service. Sunday school is open to all children age three and above and toddler care is provided for children 1-3 years of age. Classes will begin on September 18th; children will attend the first part of the service with their families. Upon dismissal, the teachers will escort the children to the Parish Hall to attend their classroom instruction. Families may accompany the group and parents are welcome in the classrooms at any time. The high school/confirmation class will begin in October.

If you are interested in helping us out this year, here is a list of various ways you can contribute to the program:

  1. Teachers or classroom helpers: we can always use people to help co-teach classes (present opening in the 5th grade class); extra hands are always needed in the younger classes, or with special projects, such as “pumpkin Sunday”.
  2. Snacks: we are always in need of finger foods and juice, preferably with a long shelf-life date. Small cups are also appreciated. Fresh food and special treats can be left on the children’s snack table on Sunday mornings.
  3. Craft supplies: colored paper, acrylic paints and brushes, stickers, felt, clay pots, small dowels, poster board, etc.
  4. Special projects: we are always open to new ideas. If you have an idea, activity, or community service project that you would like to share with the children, please speak to us. If it fits in with our program, we will try to make it work.

We have lots of fun things planned for the upcoming year, so join us on September 11th, on the Greeneway, behind the Parish Hall. Registration forms will be available, while you enjoy the fun and fellowship, as we kick off another exciting year. Please feel free to contact me at home 294-9908, with any questions or if you would like to help us out. See you in September.
