Help Wanted: Five co-teachers are needed to teach Sunday School for the 2007-08 school year. We need teachers for the fourth, fifth and high school age classes. We’re looking to carry three teachers per class. This will allow more flexible scheduling for teachers to attend to personal matters, and to enjoy church services. Teachers will need to be available for about 2-3 classes/month. No experience necessary, just a love of children. Complete curriculum and teaching guides provided. New teachers are paired with more experienced teachers in each class. If interested, call me at home (294-9908). Come join a great group of teachers for an experience of a lifetime.

Reminder: Vacation Bible School is July 23-27, 9 am-2:30 pm, at Camp Canonicus. All campers and their guests each need to bring 10 individually wrapped crunchy-type snacks (e.g., pretzels, Goldfish) to “Camp Central” on the first day of camp.

Sunday School signups will be on September 9 following our 10 am Parish Day service. Any child age 3 through high school age may attend Sunday School classes.

Sunday School, for the 2007-08 school year, will be held during the 8:30 church service. Children will attend the first part of the service with their families. After the children’s message, they will be dismissed with their teachers to attend their classroom instruction over in the Parish House. Classes will finish at 10 am.

The High School class will again be offered on Sunday mornings. This class is available to any high school age student and covers a variety of topics of importance to this age group. This class is mandatory for 10th graders wishing to make their confirmation. It will be held from 9:30-10:30 in the Parish House. You may register on Parish Day or the first day of class.

Enjoy your summer and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in September.
