As I write this, we’re three days away from leaving on the Youth mission trip. What an exciting time for St. Paul’s. I’ve had the pleasure to watch these teenagers grow up in the Sunday School. In fact, I helped teach some of them in their first grade Sunday School class. It’s so much fun to see how they have grown and matured over the years. Now, they are going off to help build a school, taking lessons learned so many years ago and putting them to work. We’ve been sharing about the trip with the Sunday School children over the last few weeks in preparation for this trip. I know some of these children are excited for when it will be their turn. To see God’s work being done by our own children, both now and in the future, how exciting. Let me say, these youth are definitely excited to go.
We’re almost done with another year. It seems as though we were just gearing up, and now we’re getting ready to celebrate all these fantastic kids and teenagers on Youth Sunday. We have lots of activities planned to finish out the year. Come and join in the fun. Remember friends are always welcome.
