The year is coming to an end, but we have a lot of exciting things to do before we break until next year. Please note the following dates and activities and join us as we celebrate the youth of St. Paul’s.

May 7 ~ Regular Church School. Also, the fifth grade class will be baking bread for the Youth Sunday Service. We will meet over in the Parish House kitchen at 8:30 am. Father Phil will also join us that morning for our final class, prior to our Emmaus event.

May ~ 13 10 am Confirmation at St. Luke’s

May ~ 14 RCS/Earth Day: The Church School will celebrate Earth Day by learning about the importance of taking care of God’s world. We will clean up and plant around the Parish House, plus take part in other activities to celebrate the day. Donations of shade loving plants are always accepted. The children will meet over at the Parish House at 8:30 am; please “dress for mess.” Parent volunteers are welcome.

May ~ 20 8-9:15 am. Emmaus Event Rehearsal: The fifth grade class will be rehearsing in the Sanctuary for the Youth Sunday Service.

May ~ 21 Youth Sunday: Emmaus Event/Community Worship/ Sunday School closing Come join us for a celebration of the youth of St. Paul’s. The fifth grade class will take part in this exciting, spiritual service for parishioners of all ages. Come join us as these youth begin their journey to a more mature relationship with God and the Church. Reception to follow. Church School families please bring a snack/drink to share.

July 24-28 9-2:30 pm. Vacation Bible School, at Camp Canonicus: St. Paul’s will be taking part in a multi-denominational vacation bible school. There will be music, swimming, arts and crafts, nature, Bible stories, and a whole lot of fun in this week-long camp. $35/week. Must have completed kindergarten – 10th grade to participate. Preschoolers are welcome if their parent/guardian will be teaching at the camp. Teachers are needed for all age groups. Registration is due by May 30. No late registrations will be accepted; please make checks payable to St. Paul’s Church, memo Vacation Bible School. If interested, please contact me on Sunday mornings before or after Church School or call the Parish office.
