This winter classes have been in full swing. Thanks to the new time change to 9:30am, we have had around 40 more students in attendance each Sunday morning than in years past. This has been wonderful. It has allowed us to build on past lessons, instead of needing to repeat important information for those who were absent. Thank you to all the parents and parishioners who have made this possible. Of course, a big thank you to all of the teachers for making this program as dynamic as it is- you guys are the best.

So far this winter, we have made Valentines for homebound parishioners, learned about the troubles in Haiti, discovered the excitement of the new community garden project, and sang in Church. This was all in addition to our weekly lessons, crafts, and activities. The fifth grade also got to go on a tour of the choir loft with Dr. Mark. They really enjoyed trying to make the bell ring and playing music with their feet. Thank you “maestro”. The Sunday school program is alive and well here at St. Paul’s. We have many new project ideas and activities planned for the upcoming months. So, if you still haven’t registered, it’s never too late. Join us on Sunday mornings in the Parish House. Registration cards are always on the children’s snack table during coffee hour or see me before or after church. Remember, friends are always invited, and even if you’ve missed a few weeks, don’t worry about it, you are always welcome. We’ve got lots of exciting things in store for the future, so come join the fun.
