It’s halfway through the year, and we have lots of fun things planned for the months to come. If you have not already registered for classes, please feel free to come visit us on Sunday mornings during the 8:30 service. All children ages three through high school are invited to attend.

On behalf of the St. Paul’s community, I want to thank all the teachers who are involved with the Sunday School. It is because of you that the children are learning and enjoying their time here, and I thank you.

As the weather turns colder, and I hear that is what usually happens in winter, it gets harder for all of us to get out in the morning. It’s during these days that I want to thank all of the teachers in the Sunday School. Every Sunday this wonderful group arrives in time for class. They come with lessons that not only tell of the Bible story for the day, but they also engage these children in creative ways. I’ve seen skits, cookies, even an igloo or two. The most wonderful thing that I see and hear in all the classrooms is smiles and laughter. The children want to be here and are having fun. God’s word is being learned in an atmosphere that the children find enjoyable.

If you are a college student or older and would like to help out in the classes, please contact me. We are hoping to add some helpers to the classrooms on Sunday mornings. This will allow teachers to take turns attending the service. We need adults who are able to help out with activities that will be planned by the remaining teacher in the room. Thank you for considering this opportunity. It’s a great chance to experience the joys of being with these children as they learn their lessons.

Again, I welcome all children to attend. Friends are always welcome. Come join us on any Sunday that we hold classes. It’s an experience that your children will enjoy.
