Sunday school is up and running. We welcome all children age three and above to attend classes with us this year. If you have not already registered your child, registration forms are available every Sunday on the children’s snack table at coffee hour. We take new registrations throughout the entire year and welcome all children. We have a lot of fun activities planned for the year, including our first community service project of painting pumpkins for the Habitat for Humanity dinner. This also is one of our favorites. Come join us and remember friends are always welcome.
This year, we have started a wish list of items that would be helpful to the Sunday school. It includes items such as tissues, and antibacterial gel hand washers, such as Purell, to help us combat the upcoming flu season. If you would like to help out by bringing in such things, the complete list is available in the Parish House on Sunday mornings. Any donations, especially of snacks, would be greatly appreciated.
Please remember that the high school class will begin on the first Sunday in October. This class is open to all high school students, but is mandatory for those students, grade 10 and above, interested in receiving their rite of confirmation in the spring. Registration is available at the class. Thank you to Laurie DeRuosi and Jean Whatmough for teaching this important class. If you have any questions about this class or confirmation, please feel free to call me at home*.
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning, if you have any questions or want to volunteer your time in some capacity, please see me on Sunday mornings or give me a call. We are excited about the upcoming year.
