The weeks leading up to Christmas are always hectic but joyous for the Sunday School. We made cards for Veterans and for the Christmas baskets. We sang our pageant songs and made beautiful stars. Everywhere you went the magic of Christmas was in the air. The faces of the children lit up with joy as they came over to the Parish House on Sunday mornings, so excited to start work on the pageant. Although rehearsals were snowed out, the joy of the story brightened the heart. St. Paul’s is blessed with these wonderful children who bring such enthusiasm to all that they do. Whether it is being a camel in the pageant, or Mary, or just collecting pull-tabs for charity, these children radiate love to all around.

Thank you to the fantastic teachers who share their talents with these children. You show up every Sunday, even in the snow and sleet, and give so much of yourselves to share the love of God. When people speak of angels on Earth, they speak of you.

Thank you to Kevin and Buddy, who worked with these children all through Advent, rehearsing the music for the pageant. They love you. The pageant is what it is because of your hard work. You bring the wonderful gift of music.

Thank you to the parents and children. The youth of St. Paul’s are its finest gift. We really are blessed. A special thank you to Rachel Izzi for filling in with toddler care on a very snowy Sunday. It helped a lot. To all the parents who have helped out with the pageant and other activities, thank you. We really appreciate al that you have done.

Last, but definitely not least, thank you to all the staff here at St. Paul’s. Your support has been wonderful. You are very special people.
