The Gates Family Arrives in Wickford

Alan, Jessica and Parker Gates moved into the Curate’s Cottage and have been settling in for the past few weeks. You know how long and tedious unpacking can be!

Thanks to those parishioners and neighbors who’ve made their transition easier by dropping by to welcome them and to offer various treats for them to enjoy amid the boxes.

No sooner had they begun to feel somewhat settled than they were off again – to the "wilds" of the Northwest. They went to Portland to visit family members, and then went on to Seattle, where Alan was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons by the Bishop of Olympia at St. Mark’s Cathedral. Alan began his duties July 1. [2005]

We’re glad you’re here, Gateses!    - Phil
